BF1942 FH Screenshots

It has been a while since I last posted. I took some pictures of the Battlefield 1942 modification Forgotten Hope. I enhanced the pictures using Photoshop to make them look better. Note that they are all in game.
This one is of a Stuart tank in the Guadalcanal map.
Here is another Stuart on the same map.
A marine also in the Guadalcanal map.
A Japanese tank under attack. It is a Ha-Go Type 95 I believe.
An American Halftrack under attack in the Guadalcanal map.
Finally an allied armoured car in the El Alamein map.

Birthday

He is what I for my birthday. I needed to work on my airforce and Airfix were a good brand to go with. I also got 2 recon German elements from Italeri which was unusually at a good, affordable price. I also got on Trade Me Call of Duty so I have some gaming to do.

Airfix Italian Infantry

Here is my Airifx Italian Infantry. They are in European type uniform for France, Greece, Yugoslavia, Russia and Italy itself.

Airfix & Italeri/Esci German Infantry

These are a mix of knockoff Airifx 1/32 to 1/72 scale German Infantry and Esci/Italeri German Infantry. I have 3 Battalions but I'd show just one of them.

Airfix US Marines

Here is my Airifix US Marines. They have their bases covered in grass and sand flock to show the Marines would have fought in mixed beach and grass.

8th Army

Here is my Airfix 1/72 8th Army troops. They are pretty good troops to paint and are well ranged.

They are with a Matchbox/Revell Stuart, an Airfix MK2 Matilda tank, a Fujimi Valentine tank and an Airfix M3 Grant/Lee.

The group is divided into several companies for a organization for Ten Rounds Rapid. As you can see, the infantry are using tanks as cover in an assault.

Here is an image of the 8th Army with a Photoshoped sky background. I have a few photos of some Afrika Korps ready to come up later on.

Introduction

As you can see, this title tells it all. I have a bit of a World War 2 set plastic army. Thanks to hoarding from some others, my army has grown from a small detachment of German Paratroopers and soft plastic tanks to a full blown army with Russian Commissars inspecting T34's to U.S. Paratroopers ready for the drop over France. Be warned that some other interests may leak in to this blog like computer gaming (including Starcraft…em…2) to usual WW2 history. There may even by Napoleonic troops lurking around ready to pounce onto this blog. So be ready for new posts.
